I168F1Proposals by Welsh Ministers

This section applies where—
a
the Welsh Ministers have given a direction under section 66, and
b
either—
i
proposals have been published in accordance with the direction, or
ii
the time allowed under the direction for the publication of the proposals has expired.

The Welsh Ministers may make any proposals that could have been made in accordance with the direction.

Before publishing proposals under this section, the Welsh Ministers must consult on the proposals in accordance with the code issued under section 38(1) for the time being in force.

The proposals must be published in accordance with the code issued under section 38(1) for the time being in force.

The Welsh Ministers must send a copy of the proposals to—
a
local authorities whose areas are affected by the proposals, and
b
the governing body of each school to which the proposals relate.
