SCHEDULE 9 E+W Amendments related to Corporate Joint Committees

PART 1 E+W Creation of strategic planning functions for certain corporate joint committees and repeal of powers to establish strategic planning panels etc.

29 E+W In section 336 (interpretation), in subsection (1)—

(a) in the appropriate place insert—

““corporate joint committee” means a corporate joint committee to which Part 6 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 applies by virtue of regulations under Part 5 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021;”;

(b) omit the definition of “strategic planning panel”.
