Transitional provision: constitution of the first Board

The first members of the Board are to be those persons who are members of the existing Judicial Appointments Board on the coming into force of this schedule.

The first Chairing Member of the Board is to be the person who chairs the existing Judicial Appointments Board on the coming into force of this schedule.

In sub-paragraphs (1) and (2), “the existing Judicial Appointments Board” means the administrative body established by the Scottish Ministers known as the Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland.
