Schedule 1 contains exemptions to certain offences under Parts 2 to 5.

The Scottish Ministers may by regulations—
a
modify schedule 1 to add, amend or remove exemptions,
b
make further provision about the requirements that a person must meet to be treated as being employed by, or in business as, a professional organiser or operator of fireworks displays or pyrotechnics displays for the purposes of schedule 1.

Regulations under subsection (2) are subject to the affirmative procedure.
