Amendment of Article 4 of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011

294.—(1) Article 4 (existing national pilots’ licences) is amended as follows.

(2) Omit paragraphs 1 to 6.

(3) In paragraph 7—

(a) at the start for “A Member State” substitute “The CAA”;

(b) in point (a), for the words from “its national territory” to the end substitute “the territory of the United Kingdom or a part of it”;

(c) in point (c), for “Member State” substitute “CAA”;

(d) omit point (d).

(4) In paragraph 8—

(a) for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(b) in points (a) and (b), for “Member State” substitute “CAA”;

(c) in point (c), for “Member State’s national territory” substitute “United Kingdom”;

(d) in point (d), for “Member State” substitute “CAA”;

(e) omit point (e);

(f) in point (f), for “Member State” substitute “CAA”;

(g) omit point (g).

(5) Omit paragraph 9.
