CHAPTER 4 Amendment of Commission Regulation on aircrew

Amendment of Annex 2 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011

316.—(1) Annex 2 (conditions for the conversion of existing national licences and ratings for aeroplanes and helicopters) is amended as follows.

(2) In section A (aeroplanes)—

(a) in paragraph 1 (pilot licences)—

(i) in the first paragraph, for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(ii) in point (d), in the table, in both places the words occur, for “Member State of licence issue” substitute “United Kingdom”;

(b) in paragraph 2 (instructor certificates), for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(c) in paragraph 3 (SFI certificate), in both places the words occur (including in the table), for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(d) in paragraph 4 (STI certificate)—

(i) in the first paragraph—

(aa) for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(bb) omit “of that State”;

(ii) in the table, for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”.

(3) In section B (helicopters)—

(a) in paragraph 1 (pilot licences)—

(i) in the first paragraph, for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(ii) in point (d), in the table, in both places the words occur, for “Member State of licence issue” substitute “United Kingdom”;

(b) in paragraph 2 (instructor certificates), for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(c) in paragraph 3 (SFI certificate), in both places the words occur (including in the table), for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(d) in paragraph 4 (STI certificate)—

(i) in the first paragraph—

(aa) for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”;

(bb) omit “of that State”;

(ii) in the table, for “a Member State” substitute “the CAA”.
