SUBPART J INSTRUCTORS U.K.

SECTION 10 U.K. Mountain rating instructor — MI

FCL.905.MI MI — Privileges and conditions U.K.

The privileges of an MI are to carry out flight instruction for the issue of a mountain rating.

FCL.915.MI MI — Prerequisites U.K.

An applicant for an MI certificate shall:

(a)

hold a, FI, CRI, or TRI certificate, with privileges for single-pilot aeroplanes;

(b)

hold a mountain rating.

FCL.930.MI MI — Training course U.K.

(a) The training course for the MI shall include the assessment of the applicant’s competence as described in FCL.920. U.K.

(b) Before attending the course, applicants shall have passed a pre-entry flight test with an MI holding an FI certificate to assess their experience and ability to undertake the training course. U.K.

[F1 FCL.940.MI Validity of the MI certificate U.K.

The MI certificate is valid as long as the FI, TRI or CRI certificate is valid.]
