3. Notwithstanding the coming into force of section 50(6), by virtue of Article 2(1)(b), which repeals the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Northern Ireland) Order 1998(1), the Producer Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007(2) remain in operation and have effect as if made under Schedules 4 and 6.
