If the corporation appears before a magistrates' court by a representative, any answers to the prescribed questions to be put, may be made on behalf of the corporation by that representative, but if the corporation does not so appear it shall not be necessary to put the questions, and the court may, notwithstanding, make an order under paragraph 1.N.I.
