The Department of the Environment makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 1(3) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 2007(1).
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (2007 Order) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007.
(2) In this Order “the Order” means the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 2007.
2. The day appointed for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Order specified in the Schedule shall be 27th June 2007.

The following repeals in Part I of Schedule 8— the entries relating to Articles 52(3)(b) and 52(3)(c) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1995(2), the entry relating to paragraph 25(a) in Schedule 8 to the Road Traffic Regulation (Northern Ireland) Order 1997(3) and Article 86(2) insofar as it relates to those repeals. | Repeals |

This Order brings into operation on 27th June 2007 the provisions of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 2007 specified in the Schedule.
