The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011(1).
In accordance with section 2(8) of that Act, a draft of this Order has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
1. This Order may be cited as the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011 Amendment Order 2012 and comes into force on 1st January 2013.
2.—(1) The schedule to the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011(2) is amended in accordance with paragraph (2).
(2) Omit—
(a)the entry “Safeguarders panel”; and
(b)the entry starting “Visiting committees”.

This Order amends the schedule to the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011. The schedule lists the authorities to which Part 1 of that Act applies.
Article 2 omits two entries in the schedule as a result of changes to the legislation under which those bodies were established.
There are amendments to the schedule which are not relevant to this Order.
