The Pre-release Access to Official Statistics (Scotland) Order 2008

Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(2), (4) and (5) of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 20071 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

In accordance with section 11(7) of that Act, they have consulted the Minister for the Cabinet Office, the Welsh Ministers, the Department of Finance and Personnel for Northern Ireland and the Statistics Board2.

In accordance with section 65(6)(a) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.
