67(1)A person holding office under these Rules or who is a member of a body constituted by or under these Rules may resign the office or membership by giving notice in writing to the secretary of the body of which the person is an officer or member.E
(2)A resignation under this Rule takes effect—
(a)on the date specified in the notice, or
(b)if no date is specified in the notice, on the date on which the secretary receives the notice.]
