1Duty to have due regard to cathedral's ecclesiastical purpose
A person on whom a function is conferred by or under this Measure must, in exercising that function, have due regard to—
a
the fact that the cathedral is the seat of the bishop and a centre of worship and mission, and
b
the importance of each cathedral's role in providing a focus for the life and work of the Church of England in the diocese.
