Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(3),(4) and (5)

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(1)(p) and 189(4) of the Social Security Administration Act 19921, sections 43(1) and 51(1) and (2)(a) of the Child Support Act 19912 and sections 6(1) to (4) and 55(3) and (4) of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 20083.

A draft of this instrument was laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 52(2) of the Child Support Act 1991 and section 55(5) of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 20084.

The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that proposals in respect of these Regulations, so far as made under section 5(1)(p) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992 should not be referred to it.
