The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 47C(1), (2) and (4), 80J(1), (3), (4), (5) and (6), 80K(1), (2), (4) and (5), 80L, 80M and 99 of the Employment Rights Act 19961.
In accordance with section 236(3) of that Act2, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
