Subject to—
(a)the provisions of the M1Coast Protection Act 1949, the M2Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Acts 1972 to 1974 and the Dumping at Sea Act 1974;
(b)the functions of statutory undertakers and port authorities; and
(c)any public rights of way
a [F1local authority] may exercise, with respect to the seashore and adjacent waters, the powers conferred on them by sections 121 and 122 of this Act and, with respect to inland waters, the powers conferred on them by the said section 121.
