78 Crown application of Part VI.

Subject to subsection (3) below, this Part of this Act binds the Crown.

Accordingly, rights which the Crown has in lost or abandoned property shall be capable of being extinguished in accordance with the provisions of sections 71 and 74 of this Act.

Subject to subsection (2) above, nothing in this Part of this Act affects the Crown’s right of ownership in lost or abandoned property.
