The repeal of section 4 of the 1978 Act by this Act shall not affect the operation of F1Article 3 of the M1Irish Republic (Termination of 1927 Agreement) Order 1979 but after the commencement of this Act, except where the context otherwise requires, the references in F1that Article to provisions of the 1956 Act shall have effect as references to the corresponding provisions of this Act.
