5E+WFor the purposes of section 16(3)(c) of the M1Courts Act 1971 (certain office-holders eligible, after 3 years, for appointment as Circuit judges) a person who holds an office (the “former office") which, on the coming into force of section 74, becomes the office of district judge shall be deemed to have held that office since his appointment to the former office.
