The Industrial Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 is amended as follows.

In Article 5 (lists of trade unions and employers’ associations)—

a

in paragraph (5)(a) for “either list maintained under section 8 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act 1974" substitute “ the list of trade unions or the list of employers’ associations kept under the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 ”;

b

in paragraph (11) for “or employers’ associations maintained under section 8 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act 1974" substitute “ or the list of employers’ associations kept under the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 ” and for “subsection (10) of that section" substitute “ section 2(5) or 123(5) of that Act ”.

In Article 6 (certification as independent trade union), in paragraphs (12) and (13) for “section 8 of the Employment Protection Act 1975" substitute “ section 6 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 ”.
