532 Appointment of chief education officer.E+W
[F1The duties of a [F2local authority] in Wales] under the Local Government Act 1972 with respect to the appointment of officers shall (without prejudice to the generality of the provisions of that Act) include the duty of appointing a fit person to be the chief education officer of the authority.
