Allocation of grant-maintained and grant-maintained special schools E+W

2 E+WA school which immediately before the appointed day is (within the meaning of the M1 Education Act 1996)—

(a) a grant-maintained school, or

(b) a grant-maintained special school,

shall become on that day a school of the category to which it is to be allocated in accordance with the following paragraphs of this Schedule.
