A local authority F2, an elected mayor or an executive leader must have regard to any guidance for the time being issued by the F4Welsh Ministers for the purposes of this Part.

F11A

The guidance may, among other things, include provision designed to encourage good practice in relation to equality and diversity (within the meaning of section 8(2) of the Equality Act 2006).
