207.This paragraph replaces subsections (7) and (8) of section 25 of the DDA (which were inserted by the Amendment Regulations, regulation 19(2)). The new provisions (which should be read with section 11 of the 2005 Act and section 21A of the DDA) ensure that employment tribunals have jurisdiction to consider complaints arising from discrimination by insurers in the provision of group insurance services contrary to section 19 of the DDA, and discrimination or harassment in the provision of “employment services” contrary to section 19 or section 21A(2).
