12Interpretation of Chapter 1E+W
In this Chapter—
“the Chief Inspector” means [F1Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills];
[F2“exempt school” has the meaning given in section 5(4B);]
“prescribed” means prescribed by regulations;
“regulations” means regulations made by the Secretary of State under this Chapter;
“well-being”, in relation to pupils at a school, is a reference to their well-being having regard to the matters mentioned in section 10(2) of the Children Act 2004 (c. 31).
