82Supply of information to Chief InspectorE+W

[F1(1)] The Chief Inspector may at any time require any person registered under this Part to provide him with any information connected with the person's activities as an early years provider or later years provider [F2, or (as the case may be) as an early years childminder agency or later years childminder agency,] which the Chief Inspector considers it necessary to have for the purposes of his functions under this Part.

[F3(2)The Chief Inspector's power under subsection (1) includes a power to require an early years childminder agency or a later years childminder agency to provide the Chief Inspector with information about an early years provider or a later years provider registered with the agency for the purposes of Chapter 2, 3 or 4.]
