In section 48(2)(b) of the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (transfer of EUetc prisoner to assist UK investigation), for the words from “having been” to the end of paragraph (b) substitute

a

having been transferred there, or responsibility for his detention and release having been transferred there, from the United Kingdom under the Repatriation of Prisoners Act 1984;

b

having been transferred there, or responsibility for his detention and release having been transferred there, under any similar provision or arrangement from any other country or territory.
