Sections 2 and 3 and this section come into force on the day on which this Act is passed.

The other provisions of this Act come into force at the end of the period of one month beginning with that day.

Any amendment, repeal or revocation made by this Act has the same extent as the enactment to which it relates.

Subject to that, this Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This Act may be cited as the Identity Documents Act 2010.
