12(1)The Secretary of State may make payments to the Board of such amounts as the Secretary of State considers appropriate towards meeting the expenditure of the Board which is attributable to the performance by it of its functions during the initial period.E+W
(2)Payments under sub-paragraph (1) may be made at such times and on such terms and conditions as the Secretary of State considers appropriate.
