14Interpretation

Section 25 (interpretation)—

a

after the definition of “Gender Recognition Panel” insert—

  • “protected civil partnership” means a civil partnership under the law of England and Wales;

  • “protected marriage” means—

    1. a

      a marriage under the law of England and Wales, or

    2. b

      a marriage under the law of a country or territory outside the United Kingdom,

after the definition of “registered psychologist” insert—

  • “statutory declaration of consent” has the meaning given by section 3(6B)(a),
