2E+W+SIn relation to an offence committed before the commencement of section 280 of the Criminal Justice Act 2003, section 7(7) of this Act (penalty for offence under that section) has effect as if for paragraphs (a) and (b) there were substituted “ to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale or imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months (or both). ”
