This Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Subsection (1) is subject to subsection (3).

Section 59 and Schedule 6 extend to England and Wales only.

Subsections (1) to (3) do not apply to an amendment, repeal or revocation made by this Act.

An amendment, repeal or revocation made by this Act has the same extent as the provision amended, repealed or revoked (ignoring extent by virtue of an Order in Council).

Her Majesty may by Order in Council provide for any of the provisions of this Act to extend, with or without modifications, to any of the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

Subsection (6) does not apply in relation to the extension to a place of a provision which extends there by virtue of subsection (5).
