In section 2 of the Children and Young Persons Act 2008, in subsection (6), for paragraph (a) substitute—

in the register maintained by Social Work England under section 39(1) of the Children and Social Work Act 2017;

Until the coming into force of the amendment made by sub-paragraph (1), section 2(6)(a) of the Children and Young Persons Act 2008 is to have effect as if the reference to the register mentioned there were to a register maintained under article 5 of the Health and Social Work Professions Order 2001.
