In section 152 (power to specify public authorities: consultation and consent)—

in subsection (2), for the words after ““must”” substitute “

In section 1 (public sector duty), in subsection (2A), after paragraph (a) insert—

in the case of a duty imposed on an authority in relation to devolved Welsh functions, guidance issued by the Welsh Ministers;

In section 2 (power to amend section 1) omit subsections (7), (9) and (10).

Section 216 (commencement) is amended as follows.

The following provisions of Part 1 come into force on such day as the Welsh Ministers may by order appoint—
a
section 1, so far as it applies to a relevant authority as defined by section 2(6);
b
section 2, so far as it confers a power on the Welsh Ministers;
c
section 3, for the purposes of section 1 to the extent mentioned in paragraph (a).
