Section 207 of the Housing and Planning Act 2016 (engagement with public authorities in relation to proposals to dispose of land) is amended as follows.

In subsection (6)—

a

omit ““or”” at the end of paragraph (a);

b

omit paragraph (b).

After that subsection insert—

6A

Regulations under subsection (3) may not be made so to require a devolved Welsh authority to carry out engagement under subsection (2).

In subsection (7), at the end insert—

“"devolved Welsh authority”” has the same meaning as in the Government of Wales Act 2006 (see section 157A of that Act).
