The TRA may do anything which appears to it to be necessary or expedient for the purpose of, or in connection with, the performance of its functions.

Under sub-paragraph (1), the TRA may among other things—
a
acquire and dispose of land and other property,
b
enter into contracts, and
c
accept gifts of money, land or other property.
