In sections 1 and 14 to 16 of the Human Rights Act 1998, for “Lord Chancellor” in each place substitute “Secretary of State”.

In sections 2(3)(a), 7(9)(a) and 20(2) and (4) of that Act, the words “ the Lord Chancellor or” are repealed.
