XXIV. EFFECT OF AWARDS, ENFORCEMENT AND INTEREST

Section 66 of the Arbitration Act 19969 shall apply to English and Welsh arbitrations conducted in accordance with the Scheme, subject to the following modifications—

i

in subsection (1), for “tribunal pursuant to an arbitration agreement” substitute “arbitrator pursuant to the Scheme (except for an award of reinstatement or re-engagement)”;

ii

in subsection (3), for “(see section 73)” substitute “(see Part XXVI of the Scheme)”; and

iii

after subsection (4), insert—

In this section—

  • “the court” means the High Court or a county court; and

  • “the Scheme” means the arbitration scheme set out in the Schedule to the ACAS Arbitration Scheme (Great Britain) Order 2004.
