1. The functions of the National Assembly for Wales constituted by the Government of Wales Act 1998 under section 37(5) of the Food Standards Act 1999 (draft Order in Council to be laid before and approved by Assembly)(1), which would, apart from this paragraph, be transferred to the Welsh Ministers immediately after the end of the initial period under paragraph 30(1) of Schedule 11 to the Government of Wales Act 2006, are transferred instead at that time to the National Assembly for Wales constituted by the Government of Wales Act 2006.
