Child Benefit and Guardian’s Allowance Administration Regulations 2003

211.  In regulation 2 of the Child Benefit and Guardian’s Allowance Administration Regulations 2003(1) (interpretation) in the definition of “adjudicating authority”—

(a) in sub-paragraph (b) omit “Chapter 1 of Part 1 of the Social Security Act 1998 or”;

(b) in sub-paragraph (c) omit “within the meaning of section 39(1) of that Act or”; and

(c) after sub-paragraph (c) insert—

“(d) the First-tier Tribunal or the Upper Tribunal;”.
