10.—(1) Section 1(4) of the Stock Transfer Act 1963 (simplified transfer of securities: securities to which the section applies) is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (a) M1 for “within the meaning of the Companies Act 1985” substitute “ as defined in section 1(1) of the Companies Act 2006 ”.
(3) In paragraph (b) M2 for “within the meaning of the said Act” substitute “ as so defined ”.
