In section 12(1) of the Requirements of Writing (Scotland) Act 1995 (interpretation)—
a
for the definition of “company” substitute—
“company” has the meaning given by section 1(1) of the Companies Act 2006;
b
in the definition of “office-holder”, in paragraph (c) (the registrar of companies) omit“within the meaning of the Companies Act 1985”.
