12.  The Friendly Societies Act 1992(1) is amended as follows.

1992 c. 40. Sections 58A and 85(4C) and (4D) were inserted by paragraphs 53, 75 and 95(b) of Schedule 3 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Mutual Societies) Order 2001 (S.I. 2001/2617).
