M1Part VA and Schedule 12A were inserted by section 1(1) of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985. They apply to a local authority, a committee established under section 102 of the Local Government Act 1972 and a joint committee which is appointed or established under any other enactment and is not a body corporate by virtue of sections 100E and 270(1).
