They apply to a local authority, a committee established under section 102 of the Local Government Act 1972 and a joint committee which is appointed or established under any other enactment and is not a body corporate by virtue of sections 100E and 270(1).

2.  Section 101(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 (arrangements for discharge of functions by local authorities). E+W
