18. In section 49 (inspection of early years provision), in subsection (4)(1), after “independent school” insert “or an alternative provision Academy that is not an independent school”.
Section 49(4) is amended by section 169(1) of, and paragraphs 30 and 33 of Part 1 of Schedule 1 (not yet in force) to, the Education and Skills Act 2008.
