Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 94(2) and 94C of the Constitutional Reform Act 20051, makes the following Regulations.

In accordance with section 94(2), (3) and (4) and section 94C(1) of that Act the Lord Chief Justice agrees to the making of these Regulations.

A draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 144(4) and (5)(ab) of the Constitutional Reform Act 20052.
