49.—(1) In Schedule 2, in paragraph 66 (retrieval of cancelled postal ballot papers), in sub-paragraph (1) for “or 54(4)” substitute “, 54(4), 54A(1) or (2)”.
(2) In that paragraph, in sub-paragraph (2)—
(a)at the end of paragraph (c) insert “(verification procedure)”; and
(b)in paragraph (e), after “53(7)” insert “or 54A(2)”.
