53. In section 50A(3)(b) of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (provision of information to the police)(1), for “a police force in Scotland” substitute “the Police Service of Scotland”.
2006 c.47. Section 50A was inserted by the Policing and Crime Act 2009 (c.26), section 88 and subsection (3) has been amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (c.9), Schedule 9, paragraph 65(3) and by S.I. 2010/1154, article 12. There are other amendments to section 50A not relevant to this Order.
